Twenty five years ago WLHS parents began providing graduating seniors with an all night substance free graduation party. Inspired by the Mothers Against Drunk Driving initiative, their goal was, and remains today, to keep our graduates safe on graduation night. Many volunteers spend many hours planning and fundraising to ensure a successful event and fantastic experience for our graduates.
The parties in past years have had wonderful attendance, 95% of our seniors attend. The party location is a mystery until graduation night, then students are boarded onto buses and whisked away for hours of fun, they are brought back to the high school quite early the next morning.
As your child ends one of life’s exciting chapters, please join us in ushering them safely into the next.
